The SoftTech Lab QMS includes a Personnel Manager, which is a very efficient way to gather all quality-related information together about each staff member in your healthcare lab.
It’s also a handy internal look-up tool, with a searchable display grid that you can personalize and re-organize to find the person you’re looking for. Program leaders or managers can be assigned permissions to edit staff records, so that they can record and access more sensitive information such as home addresses, which is not visible to a regular user.

For Quality Management purposes, the Personnel Manager can serve as a repository for quality-related information for each staff member. You can attach files that you need to prove compliance with accreditation – such as data around the qualifications, credentials and continuing education for this employee. For example you can attach a photo for security purposes, or a copy of their ID card; a copy of their lab card, their c.v., records of their continuing education, and so on. Clients tell us that this system fills in the gaps left by other HR systems - those systems are useful for managing payroll, etc, but the LAB QMS allows you to integrate all the necessary quality information around your personnel.
